The Office of Agricultural Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy, Tokyo is seeking for an experienced company to organize Thai Pavilion Decorations and Flower Arrangement Demonstration at the 6th International Flower Expo Tokyo for 6 booths.  Details as follows:

Purpose
Thai Pavilion organized at the 6th International Flower Expo Tokyo (IFEX 2009) is aimed to introduce, display and promote new variety of flower, plant, green plant and cut foliage products to Japanese consumers, retailers, wholesalers, traders and florists, to strengthen cooperation between Thai and Japanese counterparts and to generate the technical business meeting among government officers, Thai farmers and traders and Japanese consumers, retailers, wholesalers, traders and florists.

Booth & Venue:
To decorate and conduct flower arrangement demonstration for Thai Pavilion of at least 6 Thai booths at International Flower Expo Tokyo, at Makuhari Messe, 11-13 November 2009.

Term of Reference (TOR):
1.    Propose Japanese theme in the context of simplicity and sufficiency and design for flowers and floriculture decorations for Thai pavilion emphasizing the uses of varieties of Thai Orchids, flowers, green leaves, and ornament plants.
2.    Propose the masterpiece of flowers and plants decoration in Japanese or western style using Thai and Japanese products.
3.    Arrange for necessary materials including flowers, plants and greens for decorations and demonstrations. 
4.    Decorate/ Thai Pavilion at the IFEX 2009 and maintain decoration throughout the Exhibition and dismantle after Exhibition ends.
5.    Arrange florists to demonstrate the uses of Thai flower and plant products throughout 3 days of exhibition
6.    Arrange for at least 1 MC to promote activities at Thai Pavilion
7.    Arrange for at least 3 interpreters (Japanese and English or Thai) to assist the business meeting and promotion
8.    Conduct survey and evaluation of comments for Thai Pavilion and Thai Products exhibited at the pavilion
9.    Provide coordinators at the Thai Pavilion throughout 3 days of exhibition
10.    Provide Progress Report 5 copies and Summary Report 25 copies to OAA. Both Reports are in English.

Qualification required:
-    Specialize in organized the international exhibition/ have permission from Organizer to provide services for IFEX Exhibitor.
-    Able to communicate in English and/ or Japanese.
-    Able to prepare report and give oral presentation in English.

Duration of Project: 2 months (30 September – 30 November 2009)

Budget: 2,400,000 Japanese Yen (Two Million Four Hundred Thousand Yen only)
Deadline of Application:    A company, who is interested in conducting the above-mentioned activities, please submit the proposal of work plan as well as draft layout of Thai Pavilion to the Office of Agricultural Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy within Tuesday, September 8, 2009.  The selected company will be announced on Wednesday, September 9, 2009.
